The Real Beauty of A Woman

The Beauty Of A Woman

The beauty of a woman

Is not in the clothes she wears,

The figure that she carries,

Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman

Must be seen from her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman

Is not a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman
Is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring she lovingly gives,

The Passion that she shows.

The beauty of a woman with passing years --
only grows and grows.

To arrive at the point in our lives when we know who we are and are contented with ourselves. No longer is there the urge to please or impress. We realize, as the saying goes "those who care don't matter and those who matter don't care" if we're young and beautiful or starting to show our age, if our shape causes heads to turn or is just comfy and curvy.

We revel more in the warmth of relationships that have stood the test of time such as long-time friendships, lifelong partners and loving family. We cherish the sweetness of those new arrivals in our lives such as children and, for some of us, the love of a friend, companion, helper and lover who cared to look beyond what the mirror reflects to know and embrace our souls in the autumn of our lives.
True and lasting beauty...and our worth...lies within...and the years can't take that away from us...

1. For attractive lips, seek words of kindness.
2. For lovely eyes, always seek good in other people.
3. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

4. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.

5. For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.

Live...Love...and Be blessed
